I moved to Austin, MN not to long after high school and attended college. I continued to travel back to Ft. Dodge to see friends and met my husband and married him in 1989. We moved to Des Moines so that he could continue his education at Iowa State and had 2 wonderful children. We divorced in 1995. I have been working for Wells Fargo for 20 years and plan on retiring from Wells as long as I continue to have a job despite the economy. My son just finished his 1st year at the University of Iowa and is hoping to be an Orthopedic surgeon some day although he has been thinking lately that following in his uncle Mark's footsteps as a Hospital Administrator might be an option. it was extremely painful to see him leave. He presented me with a dog the day before he left to take his place. My daughter finished her 1st year in high school and is very active in softball and is on a couple of different teams. She also danced for years. She's quite the social butterfly. My children are my life. We enjoy camping, hiking and anything outdoors with our favorite vacation spot being Colorado.
